This program focuses on teaching the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to succeed on the court, including passing, serving, setting, movement, teamwork, and basic game play.

Athletes will learn in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment where the emphasis is on skill development, confidence-building, and fostering a love for the game.

  • New to volleyball
  • Looking to develop fundamental skills
  • Interested in learning the rules and concepts of the game

Fortress Rise Program (Ages 12–14)

Our Recreation Program is designed for athletes who already have some basic volleyball experience and are looking to continue developing their skills throughout the year in a fun and structured environment.

This program builds on foundational skills while introducing more advanced concepts, game strategies, and team play. Athletes will have opportunities to improve their passing, serving, attacking, defense, court awareness, and overall volleyball IQ through drills, and game-like situations.

Perfect for athletes who:

  • Want to continue developing their game
  • Are not yet ready for or interested in the full club volleyball commitment
  • Enjoy learning and competing in a positive, development-focused environment

At Fortress, our recreational programs provide athletes with opportunities to learn, grow, and build confidence while developing a lifelong love of volleyball.
