If you’ve ever met Shannon, you know she’s the heartbeat of our club – equal parts quick-witted, hilarious, and caring to her core. She has a husband and three amazing daughters who keep her on her toes, and she somehow manages to juggle it all with humour and grace.
Shannon is the kind of person who can make a whole gym burst into laughter one minute, and the next, she’s the first to show up for anyone who needs a helping hand (seriously, she’d give you the shirt off her back if you needed it 💙).
Her sharp sense of humor and big heart are a huge part of why Fortress Volleyball feels like family. We are so lucky to have her vision, energy, and kindness leading the way.

Every strong team has that one person who keeps everything running seamlessly—and for Fortress, that’s Mariel. She’s deeply involved in all the behind-the-scenes details that make our club operate smoothly, and honestly… some would say she’s the glue that holds it all together. 💙
Mariel is an organizational ninja 🥷—detail-oriented, thoughtful, and always five steps ahead. From planning and scheduling to making sure no detail slips through the cracks, she’s the reason so much of what we do feels effortless (even though we know it’s a lot of work!).
Her dedication and leadership make Fortress stronger every single day, and we are so grateful for the countless ways she pours her time and energy into this community.

Sierra Dove serves as the Secretary of Fortress Volleyball Club and is a quiet yet dedicated presence on our board. A respected coach and lifelong member of the volleyball community, Sierra has been involved in the sport since she was young. She is known for her caring approach, always putting her athletes first, and for creating an environment where every player feels supported and valued. Sierra’s organizational skills and commitment to our athletes make her an invaluable part of Fortress Volleyball Club, both on and off the court. 💙

Farin brings a strong background in fundraising and a well-earned reputation for helping run successful, seamless host tournaments—work that often goes unseen, but is essential to everything we do as a club.
More than her experience, Farin brings heart. She shows up with a genuine warmth that people feel right away. Her positivity is steady and real, even on the busiest or most stressful days, and she has a gift for making people laugh when they need it most. She has a way of lifting the energy in a room without even trying, simply by being herself.
Farin is also a devoted mom to two beautiful girls, and everything she does is grounded in care—for her family, our club, and the athletes she supports. She is the person who quietly steps in when something needs doing, often without being asked, because that’s just who she is. Dependable, thoughtful, and deeply committed. 💙
